Play & Connection with Nature
Our Mission
New Leaf Forest School aims to create opportunities for nature connection, play, and rich experiences for local communities.
By immersing participants in the beauty of the natural world, we strive to foster a deep sense of appreciation and interconnectedness with the environment. Through engaging activities and thoughtful guidance, we seek to inspire individuals to explore, discover, and cherish the wonders of the outdoors. From one-on-one sessions, to group activities, sessions for schools, or special educational needs groups; we are committed to nurturing a love for nature, and encouraging sustainable practices for a brighter, greener future.

I have and MA in Education, and a qualification in teaching children’s yoga. I am currently training with The Therapeutic Forest to add a Therapeutic Skills to my practice.
What is Forest School?
Forest school is an outdoor education approach that focuses on engaging individuals with the natural environment. It offers hands-on, student-led learning experiences in a woodland setting, aiming to foster holistic development, curiosity, and a deep connection to nature. Led by qualified forest school practitioners, sessions often include activities such as exploring the forest, playing games, learning about wildlife, crafting using natural materials, and developing practical skills. The ethos of forest school is rooted in building confidence, resilience, and independence through regular and sustained interactions with the outdoors.
